About Us

Blue Eagle Labs is a startup among friends. We come from different backgrounds/experiences -

machinist and entrepreneur, MBA and finance, IT and tech support, legal research and data analysis - but we all share the same passion for 3D printing!

We are fully committed to the DIY 3D printer market. We aspire to be a community oriented 3D printer and robotics company for all enthusiasts. The Kossel Clear is the first of a long list of projects we like to pursue. We look forward to designing our own pcb, manufacturing our own hot ends, and setting up a small scale domestic manufacturing facility.

Kickstarter History

On July 30, 2013, we launched the Kossel Clear on Kickstarter with a funding goal of $10,000. By the time our campaign ended on August 29, 2013, we had raised over $266,000, and more than 300 orders for the Kossel Clear. We finished fulfilling all Kickstarter rewards by December 2014.

We launched our second Kickstarter campaign, the Metal Delta, on August 4, 2016. The Metal Delta builds off on our original Kossel Clear design, but with more durable steel parts, a higher resolution, larger volume and more upgrade offerings. The campaign was successfully funded on September 3, 2016, in the amount of $48,920 with 101 backers.

On January 2017, we collaborated with our friends at Magis Labs to launch, Ekko: The Best Bluetooth Music Using Any Speaker, Anywhere! The Ekko campaign was successfully funded on March 2017, receiving a huge boost from Axe Capital (yes, from the Showtime drama "Billions"). #backedbyaxe
